Keep singing, moving, and making music with us between semesters with our Mini Lemon & Jingle Jam Interim Classes, which are led by early childhood music education specialist, Hallie Chandola and Valeria Chatterton at the Tampa Bay Music Academy in North Tampa. We’ll begin with our Mini Lemon sessions this November, featuring fifteen catchy, engaging Music Together tunes! Classics American tunes like “Clap Your Hands,” “This Train,” and “Hey Lolly, Lolly” are balanced with songs representing various cultures and languages (Torres Strait Islands, Indonesia, Yiddish, Yoruba, and more), along with Music Together originals like “Sneakin’ Round the Room” and, of course, the “Hello Song” and “Goodbye, So Long, Farewell.” You’ll find yourself humming and bopping around the house with your littles in no time!, bringing families together for the playful Music Together® experience you know and love. We’ll sing, dance, explore rhythm, play instruments, and move together while enjoying songs and activities designed to nurture your child’s natural musical development. Then, as we move into December, a little seasonal magic joins the music! Our classes will shift toward Jingle Jam, featuring more holiday-season songs and familiar family favorites with fun, secular lyrics alongside the joyful music-making at the heart of every Music Together® class. Throughout the entire interim session, children are free to experience the music in their own way. They might sing, wiggle, dance, experiment with instruments, watch quietly, or surprise you by bringing a song home days later. There’s no pressure to perform and no “right” way for a young child to participate. Grown-ups join in, too, because children learn music best when the people they love are making music right alongside them. So come for Mini Lemon in November, stay for the growing Jingle Jam spirit in December, and enjoy a warm, playful bridge between our regular Music Together® semesters. Cost for Six-Class semester: $150 for the first-time first participating child, $90 for siblings ages 6 months - 5 years, $1 for siblings under 6 months This class is eligible for direct pay or reimbursement with Step Up for Students.
