About the Event
Lifetime Achievement Award
Mr. Takahashi has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the National Flute Association, and will be honored at several events over the course of the Convention. This award recognizes his artistry, his teaching genius and the worldwide impact of the Suzuki approach.
Performance Opportunity for All Current Suzuki Flute Students
Carol Wincenc will be performing John Corigliano's Pied Piper Fantasyon Saturday, August 7, with a full orchestra. ALL CURRENT SUZUKIFLUTE STUDENTS are invited to be part of this performance as theInternational Suzuki Flute Ensemble. This ensemble will be the flute-playing children led away by the Pied Piper during the final Children's March. The ISFE will be led by our very own Noelle Perrin-Bryson. Admission to the ISFE is by video audition of a recent recital performance (any repertoire).
