About the Event
Ever wondered what makes your flute sing? In this hands-on workshop, students will take apart a flute to discover how its mechanics work and learn the basics of repair and care. A studio flute and all tools will be supplied, so no personal instrument is needed. Together, we’ll cover essential maintenance routines, how to identify small issues before they become big problems, and the best schedule for keeping a flute in peak playing condition.
This engaging session is perfect for curious musicians ages 10 and up, offering a rare behind-the-scenes look at the craftsmanship of the flute while building confidence in caring for your own instrument. Students must be dropped off, but parents can watch from the live camera.
